At ABC Orthodontics, we want you to feel prepared and confident about the treatment you are receive. Here are somethings to expect for your first visit to see us.
During your consultation we will review your medical history and Dr. Thayer will complete an oral exam to better understand where you are in regard to your oral health and your goal for the future. Dental records, like X-Rays or CBCT scan, photos and a 3D scan are taken to help evaluate and determine treatment needs. Dr. Thayer then will determine which treatment is the best and allow us to customize an individual treatment plan tailored to your specific orthodontic needs. We will go over your financial options to create a payment plan that works best with you. Once your dental records and treatment plan are set up, all that is left to do is to get started!
During your time in treatment, you will be required to visit our office every four to eight weeks. This allows Dr. Thayer to make sure that hygiene is up to par, teeth are moving accordingly to treatment plan and in general that things are going smoothly. We try our best to coordinate with you so that you can come when it works for your schedule. In the meantime, be sure to continue seeing your general dentist for routine dental exam and cleaning every 6 months, even during your orthodontic treatment.
